The Red Barrier

A short romantic drama about a woman who is worshiped by both a lieutenant and a Russian diplomat; the latter wins, but later turns out to be a brute. A duel in the snow ensures that the lieutenant gets the woman, but both of them suffer from visions in which the deceased appears as soon as they try to get together.

Passion

Giorgio, a young soldier, is in love with the married Clara and becomes her lover. But they are separated when Giorgio is posted far away, where he meets the unhappy, unhealthy, and unattractive Fosca, who develops a passionate love for Giorgio and tries to make him love her. The Return of Casanova

Casanova kills him in a duel and then goes home to Venice.

Charade

This is an anthology film with three stories. In "Portrait of a Murderer", a female artist draws sketches of a mysterious neighbor. She is unaware that the man is a murderer. "Duel at Dawn" is set in 1880s Austria. Two military officers fight a duel, with the survivor free to claim the heart of their shared love interest. "The Midas Touch" is a romance story of sorts. Jonah Watson is a successful American businessman, but is disgruntled with his life. He emigrates to England to start a new life, and works as a common servant. But he falls in love with a cockney maid who dreams of marrying into wealth.
